Diagnosis

Flagellum with all flagellomeres distinctly separated; eyes large, DE/DO = 3.4; hind tibial spur long, LS/LT = 0.28; female petiole short, LP/WP = 0.5; female gaster very long, MM/LG = 0.4; spiracles on 1st gastral tergite large. With all flagellomeres distinctly separated, a character state also present in all species of the petiolatus-group, this is a very distinct species. In spite of the shared character-state with species of the petiolatus-group, cebus does not belong to that group. Other characters-states, e.g. the short female petiole, the long hind tibial spur, the large gastral spiracles, are not shared with species of the petiolatus-group.
